The TDEC Commissioner’s Council on Greenways and Trails in conjunction with the Recreation Educational Service Division has published the 4th edition of the Tennessee Recreation Trails Manual. The manual is titled “Pathways to Trail Building” and deals with trail layout, design and construction methods for non-motorized trails. The copy available for download is in a 8.5” x 11” format with color photographs and can be printed double sided. Pathways to Trail Building was edited by Bob Richards, Greenways and Trails Program Coordinator.
